German Uniform Patches

These are two German military patches that my father removed from the uniform of one of the prison guards the day they where liberated.

I have no clue what so ever as to what these patches may indicate.

Air Medal from Major General Doolittle

This is my fathers Air Medal Award that he received from Major General Doolittle. This is one of many medals that my father was awarded for his actions in World War II. Below is an image of some of the other medals that my father was awarded along with his wings.

From top left to right the ribbons are: Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 3 Bronze Oak Leafs, and the EAME-ETO (Europe-Africa-Middle East Campaign, Europian Theater of Operatios) with 2 Bronze Stars.

The medals from left to right are: Air Medal and Purple Heart.
