"Rendezvous With Destiny" "The last Mission of "Just Elmers Tune" by Fritz Ulrich is about a B17 that was shot down over Denmark on the 24 of February 1944. His father was a young boy at that time and an eye witness to how the plane was shot down. Mr. Edwin Hays of New Jersey was the tail gunner on the plane he later ended up in Stalag I Barth. Fritz Ulrich located the German pilot who shot "Just Elmers Tune" and interviewed them. You can order a copy of the book from the publisher by clicking on this link.
